‘Desire’ is the latest offering from Brisbane based 'Freak-Pop' artist ÚMBRIEL. As a dedication to Aphrodite, Industrial percussive thuds frame the delicate swirling of piano, bells and electrifying harmonies as ÚMBRIEL's voice wanders from lustful sighing to carnal cries. During this time when physical touch has been sacrificed, ÚMBRIEL pines in this exploration of sensuality, lust and the inherent vulnerability in Queer love. Desire' is set to be premiered on Rupaul Drag Race Winner Bob The Drag Queen's live weekly show "Bob The Live Queen” on the 30th of April. The music video was created adhering to social distancing rules with each band member recording their parts while isolating in their own homes. A bitter-sweet concept when the physical yearning ÚMBRIEL describes in this song is considered.
